From I-10 (exit 219): Go 1/2 mi S on South Frontage Road.
We've not stayed there yet but instead were checking it out to see if we might stay there in the future. I was impressed, especially with the addition they are adding. My husband is concerned that the closest walmart is 30 minutes away. I'd like to spend a winter there.
Never again!No phone call, no sign. Self check in did that, paid, pulled into site resident kindly told us no power since 9am(3:30atm) didn’t pay to stay there and use. Our gas to run generator. Went to camp host RUDE,drunk and staggering!! don’t ever knock on my door again!! Manager came refund given.drove to KOA 10 min away.
I called about availability understanding that this is peak season approaching here is Tucson and that reservations are hard to get. With that said, the person on the phone was frantic and wanted to dominate the conversation with the woes of reserving right now. It sounded like they might have had something to accommodate us, however it sounded as if they were trying pushing us away, I finally just hung up. Please people, we as RVers know its hard to get reservations right now but have some patience with potential customers and try not to push them away. I might want to stay there another time. However, not anymore.
Lovely, clean, well landscaped and cared for. Great service, too!?! The mountain is stunning. Definite repeater!
We’ve been here before and enjoyed our stay. This time was different. They give you 13 pages of paper work to fill out and return. One of the items said “ your neighbors are watching”. Really?? Basic rules, no problem. Although lots of those rules were being broken in the park. Staff was not very pleasant.
They had water trouble. Turned water off for over 2 hours without letting anyone know. Next day they turned it off again. No warning. We could have filled our tank and been fine. So many things could have been handled different. This was a big turn off for us. We left a week early.
