This was my first experience camping 🏕️ and I absolutely loved it! The campground was clean and where our site was, was private and quiet. We had a little frog pond right next to us which was relaxing at night! The swimming pools were clean and warm and the general store has whatever you need to make your experience the best it can be. I definitely recommend Canoe River and my family and I will absolutely be going back!

Nice BIG campground. Seems like lots of regulars. Arrive during daylight hrs. Very difficult to navigate in the dark. We were in spot LS-3. Back in te quiet section. Lots of kids. Fishing, canoeing on the pond there. Staff was very nice and friendly. We didn't use any facilities so can't comment on that. Water pressure was great, power was fine. Only thing is I don't like all the campfire smoke. Fires everywhere. I would stay here again. Short drives to Boston and the Cape. As well as Foxboro stadium and Providence.

We spent a few days here for Outlaw Music Festival. It was only an hour ish to Salem for a day trip. Our cabin was adorable and the grounds are very pretty. We had a blast and would def come back. My only complaint t would be that we bought wood and it was to wet to burn so it was a waste but all in all, it was a great place and we will be back.

Went here with my family. Absolutely PERFECT rooms and the location was to die for. Only problem was that when my family entered our room for the first time, we saw some vagrants in the corner shooting up heroin LOL. My son couldn’t stop laughing at their silly antics. We decided to let them stay and had a great time, although I think they got my son “hooked on crystal” as my daughter puts it. How silly.
