About Campground

More than any other Cape Cod Camp Resort, with three pools and a Jacuzzi, two playgrounds and a beach, fishing and boating on our private access lake with sandy beach, a sports field, adult lounge, teen center, game room, wi-fi cafe, store, waterslide, sprayground, and adult outdoor fitness trail, it is no wonder that Cape Cod Campresort & Cabins has become Cape Cod’s only family campground to receive the highest possible ratings from both of the nation's leading sources for campground ratings: Woodall's and Trailer Life.

Located in the heart of one of the true vacation hot spots of New England, Cape Cod Campresort and Cabins is “THE PLACE” to be on Cape Cod! So many of the region’s leading attractions and beaches (including the Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket ferries) are just a short drive away from your base at Cape Cod Campresort. The park is situated on 55 acres, with its own private access freshwater lake and a beautiful sandy beach. Our campsites average 1600 square feet in size which can accommodate most coaches with sewer, 30/50amp electric and cable. Large wooded campsites with lake views are available, along with cabin and cottage rentals and one of the finest secluded tenting areas on the Cape. Most of our campsites are shaded by whispering pines. Our list of amenities is impressive, with a wood beam cathedral ceiling clubhouse, patio area, three in-ground pools and jacuzzi.

We stayed here for 5 nights in a 34ft class A. The spots were very tight to get in to and not very level. Ours had a huge dip we had to work around. The whole park is one-way so it takes a bit to get in and out. There are a lot of trees for shade but sadly they drip a ton of sap all over your Rv and tow car. Once the Labor Day crowd left it was pretty quiet. Not sure if we would stay here again.

It was okay, we have stayed at different Sun Resorts in Massachusetts and Maine and to be very honest the location in Saco has been hands down the best. We stayed in a Glamping site, when we arrived it was after the office had closed, we found the water shut off handle to be snapped off and the sewer hook up was cross threaded making it near impossible to hook up the line. This just tells me that no one went through the site prior to arrival, the table and chairs were covered in bird droppings as well, again something that would have been caught if some one bothered to prep the site prior to our arrival. They did have one nice day of recreation with a dunk tank and blowup obstacle course which our son loved. The hot tub was broken and covered over and the pool water was way to high making the actual markings off by about 6 to 8 inches, this was pretty dangerous when our 6 year old hopped in thinking it was three feet and it was actually almost four feet deep. This place has potential and I really want to love it but it’s a bit run down in areas, most of the staff is friendly however some couldn’t be bothered responding to a “Good morning”, bring a cover for you tow vehicle, pine pitch is dripping everywhere and look out for the falling acorns. Take a trip to Saco … you’ll have a much better time…

The reservation I made did originally state it was a drive thru spot, fire put with chairs & grill.

Though it was subject to change.

I'm glad we didn't have that spot as it had no privacy. We had lot #70 & it was located conveniently to both pools, bath house & general store.

This is the best site for camping/RV'ING & renting out cottages.

I normally go by the reviews to which they had a lower score. Though I read through all reviews & I believe the few bad reviews knocked down the score as this place deserves 5 stars!! 🌟

Staff has been excellent. It's a family fun time seem to have lots of family events & happenings to give everyone something to do..

And it's dog friendly!! Every one including the neighbors are very friendly. Would definitely choose this place again!!

Booked site in early July for a September stay. Paid for 2200 Sq ft site with paver patio full hook up 50 Amp. I didn't pay the site lock fee as I didn't care which site it was as long as it was the same type of site, that's what there supposed to do, and I think the prices are too high anyway. Arrived and was put in "motorhome row" like we were lined up at an rv dealer lot. I prayed the whole time we were there that the neighbor didn't use his grill. We left two days early. Very disappointed. Beware when booking your site. Wasn't impressed with the staff either.
