Welcome to Cane Creek Holler, comprising 21 acres of mountainous terrain, a camping area, "classroom" and cooking pavilion. Stunning sunrises and sunsets, visits from turkeys, hawks, deer and all manner of native wildlife, create a peaceful natural environment that is 10 minutes from Western Carolina University and all the amenities the town of Sylva has to offer. Leaf looking, waterfall hikes, access to Cherokee and the Great Smokey Mountains National Park, and a range of rivers and lakes, national forest lands, and wilderness/recreation areas for hiking, mountain biking, paddling, rafting, and sightseeing. An hour from Asheville Regional Airport and the Biltmore, this location offers something for everyone. Come and enjoy a unique spot "away from it all" and "in the middle of everything".
Directions
Park in the Landmark Learning Downstream Campus parking lot. Take the trail up to the main building, and you will find your reservation package on the front desk. Be at home!
