When you're ready to venture into civilization, hidden gem Rutherfordton & Forest City only 8 mins away! Sip a latte at Small Town Coffee Roasters, bike the Thermal Belt Trail, tour a local winery, hike to the Purple Martin Greenway waterfall, or enjoy a steak at Copper Penny Grill.
Just pull up the paved driveway (you'll see the main house) and park on the right in the grass parking area by the woods. Everything to right of the main house and the woods behind is the campground and yours to enjoy!
Our private residence is on the left side of the 6 acre property, hidden from view by our guest cottage, so you'll be able to enjoy plenty of space and privacy.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay at this campsite. The owners are very friendly and even brought homemade breakfast and coffee to us.
Had a great time staying here glamping! The hosts were very responsive and welcoming. I felt very comfortable. They have a cold plunge, hot tub, and big bonfire pit! My dog absolutely loved staying here! My dog was a little rambunctious but Mary was very understanding and sweet. Would stay here again!!!
This is such a hidden gem. Great amenities and hosts! The place was clean and well-stocked. They are wonderful and are willing to go the extra mile to accommodate.
