Here at Nellie Bee Farm - a member of the Appalachian Sustainable Agriculture Program (ASAP) - we grow and sell a variety of mushrooms, including, Shiitake, Lions Mane, Oyster, and Chestnut mushrooms. Mushrooms provide significant health benefits. We are beekeepers, gardeners, and animal lovers and believe in a sustainable lifestyle philosophy. We have free-range chickens that provide delicious and nutritious eggs that are for sale. Among our animal family are horses and mini donkeys, lovable dogs, and a cat named Cassie that is in charge of everything. Lynelle officiates dressage shows and is involved in the local horse community. Mark is a corporate retiree, but still very active as a soccer referee in three states, and a former soccer player. Our area of Western North Carolina is home to many native and migratory birds, so if you are a bird watcher this is the place for you.

Excellent Honey! The Sourwood honey is some of the best I've tasted! If you want great quality and flavor, I would highly recommend Buck Naked Farm. I will definitely be back for more! Great folks too!
Jennifer's love and passion for Buck Naked Farm and her bees (and other critters) shine through during her bee tours. I will never think of or see bees the same way again -- we learned so much about these important pollinators! The farm is beautiful and she and her family are so very welcoming. The tout was a perfect and unique birthday surprise for my friend, and a fabulous way to spend a Saturday morning. (And of course, their honey is yummy.)
Buck Naked Farm is my go to for farm fresh, free range eggs and beef. The eggs are not only beautiful, they taste amazing! The ground beef is also so flavorful compared to other store bought grass-fed beef. When browning the meat, it is much leaner and has less fat in the pan. Definitely five stars for Buck Naked Farm!!
My whole family had a WONDERFUL visit at Buck Naked Farms today. We learned so much, delighted in the beauty of the environment, and not only got to spend some quality time with honeybees, but also with some pretty sweet cows. Highly recommend this experience and hope to visit again soon.
I ordered a big batch of DIY flowers from Jennifer at Buck Naked Farm for my wedding this fall and it made the whole event extra-special!!
I reached out to Jennifer when I found her page about DIY event flowers online and she helped me pick out flowers and foliage that fit my vision, my budget, and were in-season. She even grew a beautiful sunset-pink sunflower just for my event and it was a huge hit.
The flower order was large enough that I needed to enlist help putting together the arranagements. My mom and I started arranging Friday afternoon and then we were able to rope-in a lot of friends and family that came over that night for a reception pizza-dinner. It was a blast. I really should have taken pictures Friday night when all the flowers were flying (sometimes literally). In any case, it all came together for our big party Saturday night.
