Secluded camping area on mountainous forest, privacy is key to us camp sites are well spaced out.
My daughter and I stayed there for a couple days over spring break. It was so peaceful and beautiful! We stayed at Site 2 and it only was a few minutes walk to the community area. The community area offered such a great view, particularly of the night sky. No light pollution or trees to block your view. We had fun talking to some really cool people there as well. The glamping tent looks so awesome! A fun time. Also, William is an amazing host. Super nice and helpful. The wood he provided was so excellent that I could start a campfire in about three minutes. Great experience!
Beautiful hidden gem of a campground!! Great views, and the host is super nice! Can't wait to come back and see the place grow!!
We had a great time camping at starlight except for our dogs taking off. They came back after a day! Good, private sites. The HOT showers are the best. Clean Porta potties. We'll be back.
We were at site 1 which was closest to the bathrooms and showers. Highly recommend.
Love this place! I've been 3 times in the last year. It's so quiet and it's very easy to camp here. They offer tent camping as well as heated cabins and yurts (I believe that's what they're called?). The port-o-potties are always clean and the grounds are kept very clean. The stars at night are divine. There are also trails to walk and a couple of overlooks to enjoy. The guy who owns the land is very nice and accommodating. You can buy wood piles from him to make a campfire.
10/10 everytime! Even in the winter!
Cozy, small enough to feel safe in. Lovely, clean outdoor showers with forest view. Campsites are set up in a loop, so our children were allowed HOURS of outdoor free play. Campsites have variety: campground for tent setup, small cabin, or tee-pee to accommodate different style of campers. We stayed our 1st time in a tee-pee because we drove 4 hours to this site, it was great if you’re traveling far.
The downside (a silly complaint to be honest) were the stink bugs who enjoyed the tee-pee as much as we did :) Each site had a it’s own protected fire pit and giant jug of water to douse the fire (safe). Our tee-pee MTG4 was set on a downhill, facing the valley of the mountains, still a beautiful view.
