Hidden gem, Josh the camp host is terrific! Shade & sun in each campsite, Markleeville Creek borders the site. In our opinion, this is the best one in the Markleeville area. First come-no reservations.

Nice quiet little place on the river, with a dozen or so sites. Note that it is surrounded by private property, so if your hiking, you will need to drive somewhere

Beautiful campsites. Quick walk to the river. Decent fishing. Outhouse style bathrooms. A lot of space between campsites.

We had an awesome experience until we had to evacuate due to fire. No real flushing toilets or bathrooms but otherwise the perfect campground. Steps from the river, quiet and beautiful
