It is closed 8/18/23. Sucks to make planes to go there and it’s closed. No where to turn around our RV!! Plus this is false advertising! It’s not what the pictures show it is!! Glad it was closed!! What a dump!

Really great place plenty of room for our 45 foot rv full hook ups. Alan is the park host and very helpful. No bad things to say.

Of course Bernie Falls itself is absolutely gorgeous. But what I did not like was being charged $10 to park and then told that we are not allowed to take our dog on a leash down to the bottom of the falls. This meant my wife and I had to take turns taking the walkway down to the falls while the dog was only allowed to be on the upper walkway. Paying to be told where I could take my dog and the outdoors is not my idea of any kind of relaxing enjoying day not to mention we were completely surrounded by many other tourists from all over it was actually quite crowded. I personally prefer a more private place where I can listen to the sounds of nature and have more Peace and Freedom. If I ever go back it will be only to show family members the magnificent waterfalls but it is not a place I will personally go back on my own.

I found Burney Falls Resort RV Park by accident. I wanted to get close to the falls but had not done any research on where I was going to stay. I rolled in about 7:30 at night and the owner greeted me with a great big smile and welcoming energy, I was so pleased to have stayed! I was only going to stay for one night but ended up extending an extra night because the owner was so interesting and engaging. The campground has a secured entrance and an eclectic vibe, the pool area is well maintained, and there was a building that said fitness center but I did not go in to see what it looked like. I did not use any of the onsite facilities- bathroom or laundry, so I can not speak to that. If you get the chance to some time chatting with Allen at the park you won't be disappointed. He has great energy and will go out of his way to make you feel welcome and ensure that you enjoy your time at Burney Falls.

This resort is definitely open for business. We made a reservation in advance and the proprietor was there to greet us when we arrived. The park is very secure with 24hr gated security. It is very close to Burney Falls, the perfect place to stay if you have an RV. The proprietor, Alan is very accommodating. He was available by text for any questions we had. He brought firewood for our daily campfire and helped us get settled in. The facility was very comfortable with ample shaded spots and lots of surrounding forest. The neighbor brought us fresh trout from his daily fishing adventure, which we cooked it up on our campfire for a truly amazing meal. We will definitely be back, this is a magical place.
