I usually don't stay at KOA when camping, but this KOA provides exceptional service for the price. Clean bathrooms and showers. Well maintained grounds. Friendly stall. Quiet
This is a small but beautiful koa close to Lassen Volcanic National Park. It's a beautiful setting with lots of immense trees, friendly, helpful staff, and clean and neat laundry facility. They do offer minimal wifi. Just enough to keep in touch with the outside world.
We stayed two nights on our recent road trip. We were camping and needed a night out of the elements. We rented one of the lodges. We were grateful that they were pet friendly, had hot running water and a kitchen. Customer service was outstanding and the grounds are really well maintained. The only negative was the bed, so uncomfortable, and the bed frame squeaked so loudly all night. It's just a shame we couldn't sleep better with that bed.
Easily one of the best campgrounds I've ever stayed at! Fantastic amenities and endless activities, and the bathrooms were super clean. Lots of great sites with fences for privacy. Dogs had a blast at Kamp K9. The staff are really friendly and keep the place very well maintained. You can tell they've put a lot of thought and care into making this campground enjoyable for everyone. I would definitely recommend staying here and will be happy to come back one day!
