Kudos to the owners of this week maintained, creative campground. It's out in the boonies, but so worth the drive. The owner cooked on Saturday night and it was spectacular..a nacho carnitas dish. There were colorful hiking trails and the facilities were very clean and inviting.
2nd time staying here. 1st time we thought it was great. After this trip we will never be back. We were told the power would be out tonight. People across from us are running an old loud generator. So much for enforcement of quiet time for the rest of your paying guest.
RV spaces depending on what you choose are spacious. Feels like dry camping but with all the amenities. Wildlife in the area with lots to see and do. Secluded with little light pollution and noise. Start skies and peace and quiet. RV plus tents. Easy in and out people were friendly. Would highly recommend. Want to return for a longer stay.
We really enjoyed staying here. Beautiful property and this time of year, late October, the crowds are gone and the leaves are turning. Large sites for rigs of all sizes, walking trails all over. We'll be back for sure!
The office host was very friendly and helpful. All the pads are nicely groomed; ours was level, so no adjustment needed. Very woody; colorful in autumn and probably scenic and private in the summer. They have short trails around the park marked with color-coded natural art. VERY cool! See photos. The park is located on a high lava vein that looks over the valley to the west = scenic. Great wifi coverage. We will be back!
