Initially beautiful site , smooth check in.
Day two,
We did a hike came back to angry campers stating we were in their spot. Rather than attempting to call us, or email me an employee ripped up tent stakes and damaged our tent on the pole pull pocket. That is first of disrespectful, and two damaging property.
The campers next to us complained so much they got comped free night. We got offered a 10% discount and to move our tent back so the Rv could park in front of us.
I stated no, we paid for a RV space which is 55$ a night and you’re gonna comp us 10% and take 90% of our space? No.
The spaces were not clearly defined and the staff was disorganized and unhelpful to resolve the situation.
This was not our fault, an RV at the end threw everything for a loop for placement. In the end today , day four the staff stated on the phone that we were in fact in the right spot.
Again poor organization.
Will not be revisiting .
We loved our stay here! Campgrounds are kept very clean. The workers are very friendly. The showers and bathroom area is very nice. Plus the casino is very nice too! We loved our stay here so much we kept extending our trip to stay longer! :)
A hidden gem of a campsite! Originally we had our doubts due to it's close proximity to the Casino, but all tent sites are neatly tucked away from view of the building. The views that are provided are absolutely gorgeous, as each site is placed directly on the lake.
Indoor showers and bathrooms are provided as well for free with a reservation!
Tent campsites are $33, tax included.
Loved it here. We had site 1 right on the lake and it was beautiful. It was great to sit out by the fire, next to the lake, and see the Apostle islands stretch off into the distance. It is a short drive to Bayfield, which is a nice little town with plenty of restaurants and shops to peruse. We did the Apostle Islands tour from there as well which was well worth the price. Nice little casino onsite as well. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and will come back if we plan another trip to this area.
