From Dunbar. Follow US-8 six miwest of US-141; turn south on Lily Lake Road 2 miles, then west on Twin Lake Road mile, then south on Twelve Foot Falls Road.
Easy drive down a dirt road and you can see the falls from the parking lot. There is then a path to the left that leads to the top of the waterfall. Lots of tree roots sticking up in the path.
The waterfall itself is fast and loud. There is a smooth area right at the top where some people were picnicking, great spot for it.
Went into this area and it was very pretty. The wife and I like hiking and seeing falls. Also rock formations. Well worth seeing if you're in the area.
Easy walk to see the falls from the parking lot. It wasn't very busy when we were there and there was plenty of parking available. There is a trail to the left to get to the upper falls. The trail to the top isn't difficult, but there are some tree roots sticking up. You can go to the right trail and go to 8 foot falls as well. It's just a short hike to get there. Dogs are allowed on a leash. We also camped here. The site was rustic but had an outhouse that was fully stocked. It was amazing hearing the waterfalls from our camp site. It was a beautiful area. It's definitely worth visiting! Enjoy! 🌲
