Nice campground between 2 lakes. Do not suggest sites 11-22. Wind blows in off Lake Luna and unable to actually enjoy campsite. Went mid June and most campers in this area stayed in their campers/tents. Do not have sites actually on lake, hiking trail between campsite & lake. Luna Lake very weeded at shore so could not fish, White Deer steep incline to lake but Sandy. Campsites are spaced perfectly apart so each site is semi private, not squished in. Pit toilets kept clean but doors do not close properly. Only water available was at spout on White Deer side. Hand pump on Luna side out of service. Lakes are totally non motorized, so kayak, paddle or row boats only. So if a fisherman, suggest going over to Butternut to fish.
Awesome site. Bring bug spray and tiki torches they help alot. Watch out for porcupines one was messing with our stuff at night haha.
Really great campground. We had site 7 which might be the best site at the grounds. The fishing was really good and the campground was quite. It was such a nice surrounding and I wish we would have had more than the two nights we had. I would highly recommend this campground!
