Bring your ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. Next door to a rock quarry and they start early during the week. As early as 0530 one of our days. I was awaken by backup alarms 4 of our 6 days. However, the facilities were clean and the staff was friendly.

Nice campground, clean and staff polite; however, experienced a problem with the sewer hookup on our site and they have been non-responsive. It seems all is good until you have a problem.

I went to dump tanks the morning we were leaving and found the drain pipe filled with water up to about 8" from the top. This was after some rain. I didn't dump the tanks afraid it would overflow and make a mess. If the water hadn't drained in the pipe I couldn't see how it would drain with more liquid added. I then used the general dump station when leaving that morning. All this was before the office opened for the day.

I called two times, explained the situation to two different people, and asked for a refund of the difference between a site with sewer vs one without ($6/day x 4 days) because the sewer seemed non-usable. We're talking only $24.

Both people said the drain at that particular site, 202, is like that and would of worked. I explained it's unusual to see standing water near the top of the drain and I was being cautious to not let sewage overflow onto the ground. Both people said they would check with management and call me back. It has been five days and no return call.

This is a nice campground until you have a problem or a complaint. Then they are non-responsive, providing poor customer service when there's a minor complaint.

Really nice campsite. The people who work here are nice, helpful, and accommodating. It's a very quiet, relaxing, campsite. In a good location for fun things to do in Baileys Harbor and all of Door County.

Best campground ever!! The hosts are so great and they really take care of you. We stayed in spot 300 and arrived late. But no worries they had our welcome package on the door with instructions and everything. I was blown away that the not only pick up your garbage at 9am but they do recycling and provide the bag. It’s was so quiet at night we could sleep with the windows open. We will be back for sure.
