Management did not seem to care for the fact that when we arrived on a Friday. They assigned us a spot with our camper that had no waste disposal area drainage. Than they moved us to another location, it had no electricity finally they moved us to a location everything was okay nice and quiet location however for all the inconvenience of playing Tic-Tac-Toe we stood a good part of the day they didn't seem to care very much just to say they're sorry even though they are doing a lot of renovations it seems to me that they didn't really care to keep me as a customer no in-house credit offered at all for all. The inconvenience that they caused. When we made the reservation. they never told us on the phone that they had no cable service and yet we pay for full hookup not sure if I will return there again.
Unfortunately this is a shadow of what used to be. The camp grounds are now a derelict haven for alcoholism. The place has been run into the ground. Nothing left of what used to be here. If you are looking for a nice campground I suggest you look elsewhere.
This campground used to be the best in the area. When I was younger it had a waterslide, deep pool and a lake with floats and sand. A few years later and it was completely neglected. The grass was over grown, the bathrooms were not well maintained, the arcade had nothing in it, the golf course wasn’t even useable, the playground was horrible, the fun activities stopped and the pool had a light that was not covered. I know this doesn’t sound good so far but KEEP READING! In 2021 they sold the campground to a new owner who said they fixed campgrounds like ours. So far the progress is great! The pool is fixed and cleaned, there is a soccer net, a basketball net, there is sand in the lake again, they have a bouncy waterslide, a jumping pad and a brand new playground. I’m so happy with this so far! Can’t wait to see what else is in store!!
It's getting better here. Had a nice chat with the general managers (husband and wife team) very nice people. They are really trying to make this a better place to stay and live. They are taking the campground in the right direction after so many years of neglect by the previous owners.
