The environment is beautiful. A nice and quiet break away from city life and into the woods with family, staring at a campfire while under the stars. The proximity to Wildwood is extremely convenient. However, the bathrooms are gross. The water absolutely REEKS of metal. I felt less clean after I took a shower rather than before. The pool water is cloudy and full of hair. I came out of the water slide full of scratches and burns. The arcade area requires some modernization. These major points ruin what would otherwise be a 5 star experience.

I’ve gone to two other adventure bound locations and enjoyed our stay and we decided to try this one this year. I know what to expect when I go camping. We rented a two bedroom cabin and the cabin itself was filthy. We rented a dog friendly cabin and there was dog hair everywhere looks like it had been there for months. The floors were dirty. I spilled some water when I first got there and went to wipe it up with a napkin the napkin was black once I was done wiping the floor. Also the fans in the rooms had months worth of dust accumulated on them. So much so that it was now spreading to the walls and around the room. That’s not even the worst of it. The smell in the water was absolutely disgusting. It was an egg smell that once anyone took a shower or washed their hands the whole cabin smelled like it. We made the best of our stay and enjoyed our time with our family the kids had fun running around the campground. The people going around enforcing quiet hours were a little much and we felt targeted as there were others on the campground that were loud and we never saw them being approached. Overall if they fix their water issue and improve the cleanliness of the cabins it’s not a bad place to go camping. Disappointed in this location.

My family of four (mom, dad, two sons, ages 1 and 5) came here in a pinch from Maryland after our other stay didn’t work out, and I feel like we hit the jackpot!! The general manager and his wife were SO competent, not only did they accommodate us with a delux cabin last minute, but they also were extremely communicative about everything at the campground. He even gave my kids free ice cream as a special treat, they could not believe their good fortune. He keeps things clean, and was available for questions/concerns every day.

As a parent, I will say the best part of our stay was the feeling of safety I had around the grounds. I saw security constantly, (who was also very helpful in speedily getting us our gate key), and the other camping families I met emulated a sense of trust, it made me feel like everyone is there for the same reason, that was to enjoy a get away in a nice area.

The laundry machines - very inexpensive and worked perfectly. The pool area was clean and well attended (but not overly crowded). The cabin itself was spotless and easy to find. And again, the general manager was so very helpful and engaging. We were so impressed by how he runs the grounds.

The best part? This campground is only 15-20 minutes from the beaches of Cape May, which we visited every night at sundown for the most beautiful sunset!!

We are so so grateful that we were able to stay here after our precious stay fell through. We never thought of ourselves of a camping family, but now We can’t wait to become regulars each year. I think we’ve found our new best spot!

Just stayed there with my 17 year old son from Aug18-21 2023. Stayed in a Rustic cabin #9 We had a wonderful time. Shower house was as clean as I would expect from a camping group. They definitely cleaned them every day. They pick the trash up from your Cabin you don't need to take it to a dumpster. Overall I would Definitely recommend to anyone with a family. It was quite and definitely did not come off as a Party Spot. Not saying you can't have a good time but not a place to be loud at 1-2am. Will definitely return next year.

I’ve been coming here for 2 generations and I have to say that I won’t be back. I always rented the most expensive RV for spacing. The tv was infested with ants. There were colonies of ants. Simple baits should have been placed. The ants were all over the beds. I wasn’t able to allow the grands to sleep in the bunk bed section and they had to sleep with me. I made a report and receive no resolve, credit or an offer to replace me somewhere else. They really didn’t care. Fast forward to last year I came again in hopes it was an isolated incident…nope the ants were still there and THE WATER SMELLED LIKE SEWER. I told the manager she said don’t worry it’s ok to ingest its just the falls flowing that smells like that. Basically they were once again dismissive. If you’re going there please bring a water test kit. That water smelled so pungent brushing my teeth was a challenge. At checkout I mentioned it again the ants and water was not up to par. She shook her said there’s nothing they can do and she knows about the ants. I don’t recommend the RV or Cabin rentals, because it happen to me in both. The pool is just a pool, don’t expect rides or the fake blow ups. They don’t exist. Not kid friendly except for the swimming pool. Never again and if I do I’m definitely bringing a water tester.
