We were there about 5 yrs ago, one night only. Owner followed us to site. Walking my dog early morning on path in back of pool. Owner followed me n asked me what I was doing...I was like walking my dog (obviously). We felt stalked stalked.here n never went back again.
This has to be the worst campground we have ever been to. The owner Thea is VERY VERY angry and confrontational! THIS IS NOT A KID FRIENDLY CAMPGROUND!!!! The owner Thea is outside everyday yelling and cursing at the young kids from having fun. She came and complained that my 2 kids were outside at 830pm on a Saturday in the summer frog hunting told me I can’t have my kids outside when it’s dark out. Not only that we have found out that a lot of the people that stay full time at this site are not the best kind of people not a very classy place very low class and it’s really not safe for KIDS.. we had a full time person from the campground knock on our RV door and told us that if he catches our 6 year old and 4 year old on his campsite that he was going to shoot them with an Pellet gun!! What kind of person says they will shoot a kid with a pellet gun for coming on his campsite?!?! THIS IS ONE CAMPGROUND TO STAY FAR AWAY FROM ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE KIDS ITS NOT SAFE!
Update. Be very very wary and remember if she talks about other guests to you, she will talk about you too. ...count on it. And I am glad to be free.So done with this place and the owner. She is unkind and rude. All she cares about is herself. She gets drunk a lot . She will not listen. She calls you names and yells at you in front of everyone in the campground. They all know your business but not the real truth just what she wants them to know about you. She has lost many seasonal patrons over the last few years. Including me. I love that place but I will never ever go back there.
this year 2022 was our first seasonal year at brookville. we had to move from previous campgrounds due to being sold and Tesa the owner took us in. we love it here quiet and to star gaze is awesome. if you want to do anything to your lot you must ask Tesa owner as there are limits as to what can be done. so far everytime we have asked and gave her info as to what we want done we have had no issues with owner. we are hoping to be here for a long time to come.
