Very clean restrooms and showers. We rented a cabin on Father's Day weekend. The cabin was clean and very cute. White Christmas lights around perimeters inside and out. We liked the two single bunks with double bed the best! The temps were in the low 60s and upper 50s at night so a blanket was needed but comfortable. The activities director was fun. She played volleyball and basketball with us! More campers should really take advantage of the activities as they create a fun, friendly atmosphere and give each other an opportunity to make new friends! The pool is sparkling clean and refreshing!!!
Very friendly staff, clean bathrooms with hot water. I was at a 30amp back in sight. It was clean and had a fire ring. Plenty of room for my 20’ travel trailer and 2 vehicles. Nice park with a big pool, I would recommend.
I would give this place three and a half stars. Just got back from a family camping trip at Indian Rock. Upon arrival, the initial interaction with one of the staff was a little rocky right off the bat. We called a few days prior to arrival to ask if we could come early and whoever we spoke with on the phone that day told us to come at 11:00 a.m. When we showed up a little after 11:00 the woman we were speaking to was telling us we got there to early and usually 12:00 p.m. is early check in. After explaining to her that we spoke with someone a couple days prior and they told us to come at 11:00 things got a little better. I'd say the campsites were your average run of the mill site. There's a lot of tree coverage throughout the whole campground which I like more than just open spaces so I would give that an above average rating. The pool was very nice, very large and well-kept, it was clean. They had activities scheduled for kids which was nice. We attended a little painting activity that our son enjoyed. The playground was dilapidated and closed and some of the other areas looked like it was being reclaimed by mother nature. You could tell that this place was rocking and rolling in the 80s into the 90s. It was pretty quiet and everyone was friendly for the most part except for the initial interaction upon arrival. But overall it was a good trip and it was somewhere close to home. Overall we had a good time, it was a good trip and a good experience.
This campground is a true campground where you can enjoy nature. It is a quiet campground where all you hear at night is crickets chirping. The staff is friendly, pleasant, and helpful with anything you need. While the grounds are rustic, stores are located nearby and easy to get to. We look forward to returning next year.
