well the place is nice and open it's not a park and overdeveloped just some River ground the fishing in it really isn't very good though
Not the best hiking trails. Basically, they are access to the ponds, which actually are quite beautiful. Be on the lookout for wildlife.
This is a decent little spot for camping. It's mostly quiet but you can hear the road if in a tent rather than RV. There are no facilities, not even a toilet. That's the only reason I can't give it 5 stars. It needs a port-a-potty or something. Also, there aren't many good spots to see the sun rise. The best spot I found is just down the road at the Platte river. Here is one location you can pull off the road to. (40.6832517, -99.3800118)
