What a great end of summer camping/float trip we had! Customer service was top notch! We forgot our eggs, so my fiancé went to the office to ask where the closest place would be to get some, and the kind lady sent him off with a full carton of eggs from her personal fridge. I don’t understand all the other negative reviews on customer service, because we were blown away with how kind everyone we encountered was.
I had a great experience here. The nature around the area is beautiful and the river is large and calm. We specifically went tubing and the tubes were high quality and worth the rent. They had different options depending on what you wanted to ride on. After all of this, I lost my wallet with my card and ID, in which I needed for my next trip. They were nice enough to ship it halfway across the damn country for me. Thank you guys, god bless
My husband and I had a great experience from start to finish. Checked in for receipt and parking pass, hopped on bus 344 with a very nice driver. Us & cooler were delivered to Brewer Bridge drop. The lady staffers were lovely to us. Tubes and cooler tube were issued and we were promptly set off by 1030 easy. Entire float was A+. ( Do recommend a stick to push off banks) Rocky Ford's beach is mildly craggy but nothing as dramatic as previous reviews and the water is quick at their beach this year (7-22) so just have your head screwed on right. Also .. you are responsible for own portage!!!! Took 4 hours. Bring more sunscreen than you think you will need.
Really nice campsite. the employees are very nice and help you out whenever you need, our cabin was clean when we arrived. Tubing was fun and the river was very nice.
Just came back from a few day run on the river. They take great care of you at Rocky ford. The campsites were large and well maintained. Everyone working there was friendly and helpful with info, etc. they set you up nicely before launch and are always there on your way back. I’m looking forward to coming back!
