Nice little lake with plenty of spots to fish from the bank. Caught and released the two catfish below in a few hours of fishing.
Very clean nice area to take family pictures I wouldn't swim there but I have seen people in the water and as long as you have water shoes it should be ok
Love to kayak here. The NRD has put in a place on the west side that I can pull right up to the lake edge and unload, fish, or just hang out on the tailgate. I wish there was a bit more shade and a little less mud given we have sandpit lakes so close by that it is hard to beat their clear water. If you kayak this, go north under the bridge and follow up stream, it is pretty neat with a lot of bends and narrower passages that are fun to navigate.
