The little nature trail we walked along was lovely, and the center had a nice exploration area for kids to learn about local wildlife and plants. Kids ages 2 - 14 enjoyed it!

A nice variety of hiking trails. Lots to do here, shooting range, camping, visitor center. Only wish the state could have acquired more of the surrounding land to the east. Thank you to the staff who helped me with my tire troubles!

Strictly from a camping perspective, we were lucky in the fact that nobody else was there. All of the campsites are stacked right on top of one another so there’s absolutely zero privacy between the sites. The surrounding area is beautiful and there’s some nice light hiking around plus the extracurricular activities with the nature center and shooting range.
