From Fairbury take the PWF Rd east 4 1/2 miles to 573 Ave., 1 mile south on 573 Ave., then 1 1/4 miles east on 710 Rd. From Beatrice take Hwy 136 west to Jansen, go south on 573 Ave. 4 1/2 miles, then 1 1/4 east on 710 Rd.
A wonderful place. Great buildings, walking trails, natural grasses. A great stop along the trail.
This was a very educational and interesting place to go. I enjoyed looking at all the historical sites.
The campsites are very well kept. We arrived on Tuesday and left on Friday. We had a walk-up site for our whole stay. The bathrooms were very clean. The showers were clean as well, I didn't care for the sulfer smell coming from the shower water. But if you are not in there very long it's fine. We met the camp host the first night she was very nice. We walked and biked the trails. It was a great time!
