Neleigh Park is truly little gem in our community of West Point . Amenities available include pool[seasonal] a small museum of memorabilia .There are shelter houses and also grills. Trails to walk Ride bicycles , strollers, run around the entire lake which boasts a fountain. A dock for fishing, lots of playground equipment, restrooms. Pads to park campers with electric and water hook ups . There are ball fields and a volley ball area. I suppose one could even practice Tee Off as its spacious enough on the west end that one could find an area . On a scale of family friendly I give a ten star. This is also a clean area , trash cans everywhere, alot of people take their lunch time there as it's got alot of places to sit and remain in the shade. There is usually a city truck or West Point PD cruising through on a semi -Regular basis , so on safety and no crime or drug activity i give it another ten stars . Well as the community park and its also where the County Fair is held along with the Fourth of July Fireworks are set off here too. Have a nice visit and be sure to read the story time boards as you walk children around the lake.
Kids loved the playground. The newer additions of musical and interactive stations really kept them engaged and active.
Nice city campground. Water and electric at each spot. Dump station. Across from city swimming pool, pond and park area. Only $15 per night.
My kids loved this park! There is a picnic shelter and bathrooms right by it as well as a pound with fountain across the road. It's an inclusive and handicap access playground with so many things to do from small zip line to in ground merry go round plus large musical and interactive features on the play structure. All they need is a splash pad/spray ground and this would be a top park for my kids!!!
