From town: Go 4 mi NE on FR, then follow signs.
Very beautiful. Lots and lots of hills and narrow poorly kept roads and little flat ground for camping. good to have AWD! Very quite and good fishing at Fisherman's bridge, good variety of fish. Encountered mostly kind people from the area and truly enjoyed the new experience.
Our favorite place in NE for primitive camping. The water levels were quite low this year, but the folks at the Marina are top notch. Our family and friends make this an annual fall tradition.
As soon as we walked into our cabin...no lights. Bulbs burnt out. Had to call main building to get repaired. 100° and air conditioner quit working, repair personnel came out and said "sorry"? Can't fix it. Ground is so washed away couldn't even sit next to lake. No refunds or discounts given

Beautiful area, but they cater to campers and RV's. We tried to have a peaceful family camping trip and actually found one of the few tent camping spots, and low and behold 5 campers made a circle around this little grass island, one of the campers eve parking half way in the middle of the road, to which he then put his generator right outside out tent. So much for a peaceful family vacation. This was our first and will be our last time ever camping here!
