From jct Riverside Ave & Hwy 20: Go 3/4 mi S on Hwy 20, then 3 mi W on Twin Lakes Rd.
I love the spread out spaces between trailer sites. Hope the owner continues with the staggered arrangements for the trailers. Great place for large tent groups or get a site away from other campers. Would definitely return to this resort for a future stay.
Great campground, lots of mule deer at the grounds, scenic lake, birds chirping and super sweet host (Carol) 🙂. Grounds are kept clean as is the restrooms and showers. If you don't have a boat, don't worry they have them to rent. Will be back!
Beautiful views, good fishing, it's clean and well looked after, I highly recommend the cabins, they have ice and firewood for sale and you can rent boats, paddleboards, life jackets etc it's truly a slice of paradise
We read the reviews and they sounded horrible. We were desperate to get out and go camping though. So we decided to take our chances on the big twin lake. Boy oh boy am I glad we did. The reviews were all lies. I heard not 1 single frog, the bathrooms were always clean and stocked with toilet paper and paper towels as well as a nice smelling hand soap. There is a very clean playground that our daughter loved to visit often. The staff are wonderful. We will be back to this campground in august and enjoy another 4 or 5 days. Thank you to all of the staff for the amazing stay. The Dinsmore family.
We spent 4 days here and had a GREAT TIME. We talked to many of the other campers. A lot of them has been coming here for many years.
The camp ground is family owned and operated by the nicest people you will ever meet. The camp ground is kept neat and clean. The bathrooms were cleaned and well stocked many times a day.
This is now going to be our go to stop when we are going to be in the Winthrop area.
Thanks for a great weekend
Your new camper family
