My family and I have been camping along the Chewuch river for up to 40 yrs. As the years went by and we all got older the family camping faded down due to bad health but I continue still to go there, even if I'm by myself. I camp there because it's quiet and very relaxing, away from crouded camp grounds full of

annoying loud obnoxious people and city rules, and best of all it's free. 🤗

Friday, Sept 30, 2022 - I'm all alone in this campground. It's clean and has running water. It's in an open pine forest. It has vaulted toilets, but it's very clean probably since no one is here. It's also quiet and there are no bugs, unlike the state open field just south of here. $20 per night, or $10 for seniors. I'm at site 13 and was able to get Starlink to work on the picnic table. Very surprised by that with all the trees around. Verizon is dead here, but AT&T seems to work a little, at least at my site.
