We just spent two nights at this great campground. Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The grounds were beautiful with green green grass! Saw a deer walking through this morning. Park is the next street over from the towns main’s street which makes it easy to explore the town. Highly recommended!

The Perfect RV/Tent Park!

I took my boys for their first motorcycle camping adventure, and this was our destination. What an absolutely wonderful place to stay. Showers, clean towels, clean restrooms, laundry, grills, and amenities for campers that I have never seen anywhere else…. like a dunk tank…Seriously, a dunk tank!! Dad’s would sit in the cold seat and their kids would throw balls to drop em’ in the drink.. How Cool!!

The park host was super kind and helpful (thank you sir!), the grass was green and lush, and everyone was happy! It felt more like a community than a campground.

Minutes walk to downtown Winthrop, but far enough away, and above, that you didn’t feel the bustle of tourism.

I had a great stay, Thank You!!

Well, what can I say about this most awesome park. It was our 1st RV park as we bought a Motorhome and pulled into the office, and this has to be the greenest place in Winthrop. You can tell they really take care of the grounds there and the grass was green and bright and well-watered. We met the host and they let us check in early and even guided us to our spot and help us set up in the area. In talking with them they even gave is some friendly tips since they knew we were new to the RV world. Spent a very pleasant weekend there. The park was quiet, and kids played safely around the park.

Very easy walk to downtown Winthrop from the RV park and you can even learn a little bit of History as you go through the museum that was across the street.

Props to the hosts and owners of this place we plan on making it a yearly thing as we can.

Thanks for having us.

We loved our first trip to Winthrop for the fall colors. We rolled in after dark but David gave us a warm welcome, our choice of RV sites, and generously helped with our set up. Clean laundry, shower, and bathroom facilities. Location is convenient. Trailheads in the National Forest were a 30 minute drive. Most everything in town is within a short walk. We’ll be returning again soon. Thanks for a lovely stay!

We love this RV park. Anna does an amazing job at keeping it manicured, picked up, and tidy!! Love the new showers!! We had been to the campground for about 3 years, and the shower was a nice added bonus. We also loved the new covered patio area!! It's so nice to have a place for potlucks or parties that are covered from the weather.

We usually come to the park the 3rd weekend in September for the car and trailer show. It's always a busy weekend, but loads of fun.

There are plenty of areas that are shaded and some that get sun. She also has teepees you can rent and rooms. Most spots have picnic tables as well as hook ups.

If you need to laundry while you are gone, Anna also has washers and driers for you to use.

The park is usually quiet and relaxing as well.
