Beautiful area. Really small, less.than 12 sites and primitive but really peaceful with miles of hiking or bicycling trails.

I enjoyed this little campsite very much. We got there at nine in the morning and there was only one spot left. It was right next to the river but next to the road at the same time. Self serve pay and bathrooms are the usual. Smelly and small. I only saw one water spout that was kinda near/in someone's campsite.

Great camp site since everything near Cascade National Park was booked out! Close to the Mazama Grocery store.

The sites are spacious and can accommodate multiple tents. Pit toilets didn’t reek and were well stocked. The river made for a relaxing white noise backdrop.

The campsite is near the road so if you’re a light sleeper, bring ear plugs.

A trip of confusion. We started out planning a camping trip with family. Labor day traffic and just before leaving our daughter called said everything has changed. Ok so strip down the car try to reorganize the new needs list, check. Now we are going to be in a near by resort. So much for checking out the bug out bag. This trip had been fraught with pending failure for two months now. Good lord what's it going be next. So now we've gone from eastern Washington in flames to waking up to..see photos below.

Welcome to Freestone resort with Helo pad and all.

This place is gorgeous and quiet. Only 6 sites on the south side of the highway and approximately 6 on the other side. It has a creek running alongside and there is easy access to it.

$12 per nights

Pit toilets

Water available

No rv dump

Trash dumpster is on the north side of the highway.
