Beautiful spot in the Crooked River canyon, right below the dam. Tables, bathrooms, fire pits. Great spot for camping, or day use. Fishing was disappointing on times I went.

The first campground down river from Bowman Dam, this year round location has 15 non reservable campsites and potable water in the warm months. One group campsite and one accessible single campsite. A slightly steep wheelchair paved trail leads down to the upper river bank but not right to the Crooked River. No campsite power but fly fishers love the place.

Gorgeous. Beautiful. Clean. Has toilets, campfire circles, picnic tables, and grass. Still feels like you're in the wilderness. Nice stop on our way to Fischer Canyon.
