Quiet rv park. Everyone kept to themselves. The park was clean and close to hiking or just walking. The showers were clean and private. I recommend turning the water on when you get in the room as the hot water takes a while.
Beautiful park, very friendly staff. Camp host and office manager were so helpful. Made sure we had an RV space for at least a week for our son to attend wildfire firefighting classes in Philomath, then let us add 7 more days and accommodate us even with a football game filling up the park.
Extremely clean restroom with showers as well as laundry room.
Great park. Easy to park your trailer. Staff is organized. Restrooms and showers are clean and large.
Benton Oaks RV campground is a hidden gem! I was searching for a campground nearby to enjoy a couple weeks of relaxation. I found this park and took a drive to check it out prior to booking my reservation. Cell phone service was fantastic for our stay. We use Verizon and T-Mobile.
We weren't sure what to expect as it is a busy area, but it was a great experience for the 2 weeks we stayed. There are several places nearby if needed. Plenty of shopping, dining, and entertainment options close to the campground. I use Verizon cell phone service, and I had excellent service for my entire stay.
The park is situated more in a rural area directly behind the fairgrounds. They offer full and partial hookups. I highly recommend the full hookup sites as they are larger and offer additional room on paved pads. The full hookup sites are separated by lush grass that is landscaped/mowed on a regular basis.
There is a building with secure bathrooms that offer hot showers and toilets. The showers are roomy with plenty of space to move around. They do have a handicapped shower with a bench to allow seating if the need arises. The water pressure is fairly lower than most, but it is a decent shower that is frequently cleaned.
A laundry facility with 2 washers and 2 dryers are located in the middle of the same building. The machines accept coins or can be used with an cell phone app. I used the laundry facilities multiple times and my clothes came out clean and dry with no issues. Just be sure not to overfill the dryers or more time will be needed.
The park was quiet, and everyone appeared to be respectful of one another. The grounds are kept up very well and clean. They have multiple employees and hosts around, so it is generally easy to find someone if you have any questions or concerns. We felt safe and didn't encounter any issues. They also offer additional parking if needed.
We recommend this campground if you're looking for a few days to get away or traveling. They are closed sometime in July until mid-August due to events. I've already reserved our next spot, and I'm looking forward to visiting the park again.
RV dump site presently closed (maybe temporarily?) as of September 2023. No reason indicated, camp host said she had no idea why and could not suggest a single alternative site. Not helpful, drove 20 miles and still have a full tank. Argh!
