There’s not much snow on Mt Hood yet this year and many of our go to sno-parks are bare, but we were delighted to find that there was enough snow at White River for my little kids (4, 2, 2) to play. Lots of exposed rocks and it’s slippery, so bring helmets!

A great pet friendly snowshoeing and sledding trail. White river hasn’t been covered by the snow yet. Dense fog covered mt Hood but the views are still magnificent.

We love this place so much. Every year we go here for my brother’s birthday, they slept with my family and all of our kids. There’s a restrooms and great trails for hiking, snowshoeing, and sledding. Love it.

One of the best experience ever. We went to Mt. Hood White River West Sno-Park suddenly. We thought the weather might be worse. But it was perfect. We all did sledding and tubing. We walked on the snow and went to the White River. It was so lovely. Everybody was very respectful and gave space and privacy while others were sledding.

Important point take extra warm clothes and boots. Layer up. Wear your muffler and hat. Do not compromise. Moreover check the weather. They have a 24/7 live webcam to see the says weather. So be sure to do that. You will need a four wheeler to go up to this majestic Mountain. Take plenty of food and snack. After all the activities your tummy will grumble crazily.
