We decided to make a last reservation and Michael was very helpful. From the time we arrived till the time we left we had nothing but positive things to say about this place. The owners are friendly and neighbor’s are friendly as well. It’s a great spot and it has a nice river access spot to enjoy. There is a shopping strip right in front to go to for breakfast and lunch. We will totally be back to visit Pop’s. Highly recommend this place.

No Riverside spots as advertised. You need to be self contained, no restrooms, showers etc. Can walk to the river tho. No amenities that would make it a "resort". A lot of permanent trailers here that are really junky looking. Town is a short drive away. Our rv became full of stickers and our dog got to where she would not go out.

My husband and I, plus 2 dogs, stayed for almost 2 weeks while our son attended a local camp, the campground staff are great, quiet spot, close proximity to town, directly on the Medina River(unfortunately it wasn't flowing due to an extreme drought), it is behind a strip mall but it isn't busy or loud (Snowflake Donuts and Fat Boyz!), we were concerned after seeing previous reviews but we had a great stay, would definitely recommend

Checked out of this dump early. Planned a trip to a Bandera with our kids for Spring Break. It was literally behind a strip mall/center down by the river. The river access was nice but didnt make up for the fact that the location was down wind from a sewer water treatment plant and had more long term residents than travelers. They charged a $5/kid per day fee for anymore than 2 campers, zero facilities and the only place to have a camp fire is across the rv park by the river. I did receive a lock site fee refund for $10 because the owner offerred us a "better spot". It was further from the river and closer to the dumpsters behind the strip mall. I figure our original spot we chose wasnt actually available. Idk. Certainly not taking my family back.

Over the last 30 years we've been camping this was the worst campground we have ever stayed at! Campground was not maintained and 95% were full time residents. Check in was 2 PM and we arrived at 1:15 so they charged us and early check in fee. There was a 2 Pet Max which we were not aware of. So we had to pay a fee for the 3rd pet as well. We left the next morning couldn't stay there another day. Thank goodness our next campground could take us 2 days early. CAMPERS BEWARE
