Shriners Hospitals for Children is the World's Greatest Philanthropy. Al Bahr Shrine is a landmark location in San Diego and a wonderful venue for your next event. Call the building manager for the details.
Bad food, the building itself is ugly and bad decorations. Also smells like a sewer.
went here for a 50th birthday party! the building is behind a hotel, but there is an easy to read sign out front indicating as such. parking spaces were a bit narrow. Entrance has a symbolic sphinx and lots of plaques commemorating donars. Lobby is modest, and the main dining hall was OK but nothing special. A DJ was set up, plenty of food.
I attended my first Festival of Trees for something fun to do on a Sunday to get into the Christmas Spirit!
They provided Santa Clause, Cider, Cocoa, rides on the North Pole Fire Department vehicle and friendly informational chats with Members and Supporters.
I learned that Shriners Hospitals spend approximately $150,000,000.00 per day across their many hospitals treating children with cleft palate, Spina Bifida, prosthetics and it’s NO COST to the families. They pick up and drop off families and patients in their secure vans, making it possible and less painful for families to heal and treat their young loved ones. This example is one of many causes they support.
This is a great argument to support this philanthropic organization!!
