Awesome views, super accommodating staff, phenomenal prices, laundry, pool, and a general store! And it's so serene and quite tucked away in the mountains. Even though you can see the freeway, you can't hear it at all.
Will 100% visit again 🤙🏼
We really enjoyed the place. Simple, easy access, quiet, very affordable (no expensive frills) -- the best-kept RV hide-away secret in the area.
Beautiful location, adjacent to the Viejas Casino but far enough away where you can’t hear it or see it. The spots are super roomy but only 10 spots available for short-term stays. The rest are reserved for “long-term” which according to the friendly lady at the front desk, is a month or longer. It can get super windy in this area so keep that in mind. They do have a pool but it was closed during the winter. My kids were looking forward to a heated pool, but no such luck. All in all, we did enjoy our stay here and will be back in the Summer to check it out again.
I do not recommend Ma Tar Awa, nor would I render this place ... horrible experience. Unprofessionally managed and not maintained. Jessica should find her happy place because she is rude to guests, plus perfidious. Jessica goes around badmouthing Millie, who is the most professional of the bunch. Viejas' name shouldn't be affiliated. I'm very disappointed because I love Viejas.
If I could leave a ZERO STAR review I would.. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU DO NOT STAY HERE. Jessica the front desk lady will lie to you about checkout and then scream at you when she gets caught and is confronted. She was the nastiest most unprofessional person I've ever dealt with. She screamed and yelled at me and my wife on the top of her lungs saying she's not in the mood to deal with me or anyone today..What are you working in customer service for then?? This whole argument is because I was told to check out at TUESDAY at 8am because today monday is a holiday and her boss isnt there until Tuesday. So I was told, :quote: "as long as your gone by 8am Tuesday it's ok" :end quote. Today the boss showed up early and she realized that she was in trouble for allowing us to stay an extra day and when I went to the office to confront her all she could say is I know I told you Tuesday but my boss is here now and you have to go. I kept asking why did you tell me Tuesday then and she acknowledged she told me Tuesday but she doesn't care and she's not in the mood to deal with anyone. I stay at hundreds of RV sites and this is by far the worst park I've ever been at. I will never stay here again
