I tried to call to see if the road was accessible since it had rained that day and no one answered. We assumed it was okay since they did not tell us the road was unsafe and impassible. The mud on the road was just as slippery as icy roads, if not worse. After we hit two super slippery spots on hills we came to a third one and stopped to turn around. Someone drove up and told us they pulled two trucks out of the mud that day (one had been trying to dig out for 2 hours!) and there was no way we'd make it. I have no idea why we were not contacted and told it was not safe, or even possible, to get to the campsite we paid to use. They refunded us minus the paypal fee. We should not be held liable for the fee since it was not our fault we could not get to the campground, but at least we got most of our money back. I wish we could have gotten the hour back we spent trying to get there. Expect them to blame everything on the weather and not give a warning for unsafe road conditions (the email they sent said to wait an hour after rain, but that did not work at all). At least we got most of our money back though. There is BLM land about 10 minutes away that is free to camp on.

This place is amazing. The stars at night were like non other that I’ve seen. The horseback ride with Bill Wright was spectacular. The road up to the campsites was a bit bumpy but easily manageable. I saw multiple low clearance cars un the camping area. Views Views Views all amazing, We towed our 26ft travel trailer up there without an issue. For those wondering you can get free potable water at the Dino gas station in town before you head up. Highly recommend Zion Wright Family Ranch

If you like to be away from the crowds, regular campgrounds, and don’t mind being off grid, this is the place to be! The views were absolutely stunning and the best we’ve seen of Zion. The camp sites are spread apart to where you’re not close to anyone. You just pull up and choose one. It’s super easy going and we loved that.

The dirt road up to the campsite can be a bit intimidating but going slowly and with a 4x4, we didn’t have any problems at all.

The only thing I’ll mention that might be good to know beforehand is that the property has fox tails during the summer months. If you have dogs, you’ll know the pain. Our first campsite had a lot of them, but our second site barely had any. This is just part of the nature, so just something to keep in mind.

We absolutely loved our stay at this ranch and I’d recommend it to anyone. It’s a great experience and something very different!!!

“Wow!”

These were the first words my wife and I said in unison as we pulled up on the ranch. We found this location on the Dyrt app and were beyond pleased with our site and stay.

We were met on the property by fields of wildflowers, with nice and spacious sites that have great privacy. We loved the quiet nights and gorgeous car ride to the valley. (Feels like 10 minutes).

Thank you Wrights, we will be back.

We enjoyed the 2 nights we camped at Zion Wright Ranch. It is such a beautiful, peaceful place. The views majestic. Our only regret is not doing the horseback riding. The group really looked like they were having a good time this morning. Thank you for sharing your beautiful ranch.
