Open for season. All water and electricity is on in campground. The boat ramp is open and the docks have been placed. Hazards exist, be careful if boating.
From Salt Lake: Take Interstate 15 south to Exit 202 - Yuba Lake. Follow the access road approximately five miles to park entrance.
Small little campground with great showers. One of the nicest State Parks we have been to.
Some sites have the electric and water hookups on the "wrong" side. So be prepared with possibly needing a slightly longer hose or electrical lines.
I was camping last night at this camp ground.
The reason for giving 4 star as because they don't have individual rv dump area as well as do not have that in camp ground.
Though they have dump station outside the camp ground across the road.
Nicely maintained camp ground..... water and power supply available to every camp side.....
Beautiful view of yuba lake......
If you want designated camping sites, green grass (depending on time of year), bathrooms and showers, access to the lake and beach on foot, by car, and/or boat this is perfect spot. Many other campers around but noise wasn't too bad at night. Some generators ran until 10 PM or a little later but pretty easy going group. Lots of kids riding 4wheelers having fun and everyone loving the beautiful views of the lake. Weather can change in a minute from calm and sunny to windy and rainy.
Nice, clean park with multiple spaces for tents and RVs. We were able to park in a pull-through with our 35-ft fifth-wheel easily. We were there during the off-season, so we didn't hook up to water or electricity. The lake is a short walk and is lovely even in the fall/winter. There are a few spots further along the road past the entrance to the park that could be used as free parking. If you follow the road through the park to get back onto the highway, please be advised that there is a bridge with 13'6 clearance.
The cabins here are awesome, and you are right by the lake. Highly recommend. The bathrooms are very clean and we've have showers
