Great boondocking site between Capital Reef Nat Park and Torrey, UT. There are lots of sites, great views and cell service. It is strictly dry camping...no facilities, bathrooms or water. Just 3 mins east of Torrey off 24.

A great BLM area for dry camping (aka boondocking). There are so many beautiful places in this area that is very close to the Capitol Reef National Park. Camping is free. Great views and perfect for stargazing.

Quite a few campers and RVs when I got there, but it’s free and a beautiful view of capitol reef and the surrounding terrain. The reviews about morning wind were accurate, it’s breezy in the morning, so shelter or tie your tent if that’s what you’re using. Right off the road and only 5-10 minutes from the NP. Would recommend
