Great facility. Lot of campsites and RV hookups. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good place to stay for accessing caving and climbing in Jackson county and surrounding areas. The primitive campsites had picnic tables and trash cans. Will probably stay there again. Would recommend

Quite a few campers and RVs when I got there, but it’s free and a beautiful view of capitol reef and the surrounding terrain. The reviews about morning wind were accurate, it’s breezy in the morning, so shelter or tie your tent if that’s what you’re using. Right off the road and only 5-10 minutes from the NP.
