Formerly known as Aspen Acres our campground is a retreat back to nature. No glaring streetlights, no cement pavement…just nature at its serene, peaceful finest (with full hookups!). Check out of the hectic life and get in touch with your inner calm. The RV park is located on 100 acres of an original Eastern Idaho homestead. The park has convenient paved access from all major highways in the area. Tents are also welcome Yellowstone Golf’s course is an 18 hole executive course with views of the Grand Teton and Centennial Mountains in addition to pastoral settings and the large Aspen grove. The combination of tee to green elevation changes, dog legs, narrow fairways and undulating greens make the mountain view course the most challenging 18 hole course in Fremont County. Clubs, Push Cart and Motorized Cart rentals available at the check-in desk. Have friends who don't RV? Our cozy one-room cottage(with a loft) provides accomodations with all the modern comforts, yet with a feel of a mountain cabin among the aspens and pines. Great location near our 18-hole executive golf course.
64 miles from Jackson, WY and West Yellowstone, MT. From US 20, 1 mile S of Ashton. Turn toward the east (tetons) and go approx 7.5 miles & turn right on 4100 East. Turn left at the stop sign @ 1100 North. Entrance is at the top of the hill on the left. Proceed down to the barn to check-in.
Such a fun place to stay with the family. Golf course was fun, camping spots are fairly private. Management was awesome, they were always checking on us making sure we had everything we needed! We will definitely be back again soon.
We stayed at this amazing rv park May2nd to the 7th 2022. Last minute find and sooo worth it!!
They have a golf course that we didn't get to enjoy but we definitely liked traveling through it to our site.
And the trees! Goodness gracious it was so cool living within those trees for the week.
There's a great playground (that had toys and buckets out ready for kids!), super cute little laundry room. One washer and one dryer, but 24/7 accessibility. Full hookups sites, picnic table and a bonfire pit. It was too cold for us to use but would have in different weather.
The staff was sooo awesome too. Very welcoming in the beginning and super helpful throughout. Major bonus was the hospitality of the staff. Very family friendly and warm welcoming. (One of the major reasons for the 5 stars).
It also snowed and that was really cool. Beautiful place to wake up to a winter wonderland.
It also was about a hour from Yellowstone and a hour and a half from Grand Tetons. Also about 25 minutes from Walmart and essential type stores.
But far enough to feel like you're in the middle of nowhere. Beautiful land and definitely would go back. Also! Passport America Membership was a plus.
Love this place :)
I love going here! It’s probably my kids favorite place to go all summer. 18 hole course with lots of cool art to look at as you play. There’s frisbee golf also! Love it
We got a great last minute spot here! Friendly caretaker. Very helpful! We pitched our tents in the dark but woke up to a beautiful view! It looks like there are mostly RV/trailer spots and I would for sure come stay here with out trailer or tents again.
We arrived on July 7th and loved it so much that we extended our stay, TWICE. First, you cannot beat the location if you are seeking the beauty of nature, peace and quiet, and proximity to local attractions. This RV Park is unlike any other we’ve stayed at, and we are full-timers. It is situated in the middle of rural Idaho, surrounded by farmland and national forests. It is a “natural” RV park, meaning the owner keeps it rustic by design, which creates an authentic, out in nature experience but with all of the amenities you expect. You are surrounded by beautiful pines and aspen trees and a dark night sky filled with stars. It’s the perfect location to come home to after a day of sightseeing. Yellowstone West Entrance is just under an hour away. The Grand Tetons are about an hour and a half away, but the drive there over the Teton Byway is so epic that you don’t even notice the time. There are plenty of places to stop on the way, such as Driggs (awesome farmer’s market every Friday, butcher shop with local meats, Provisions restaurant, Grand Targhee Resort, national forest hiking), Victor (corner old fashioned soda shop), and scenic view pull offs from the byway (hiking trails). Jackson Hole has everything you could possibly need in terms of shopping, dining, etc. Back at the RV Park, there is pretty decent grocery store in downtown Ashton, and the Shoppe on Main has a fantastic gift selection and a coffee bar. If you need a big box, there is a Walmart 30 minutes away in Rexburg. Finally, the first people you will likely meet when you arrive are Casey, the owner and his daughter, Maddie. They are both down to earth and ready to help in any way possible to make your stay a success. Casey enjoys sharing this wonderful property and takes pride in the guests that return year after year. He will give recommendations on anything you need and knows the surrounding area inside and out. He’s on property every day making sure that things are running well and guests have what they need. He is the most responsive and participative owner we’ve seen in our travels. This is home to him and he really cares about the land, his family, and his guests. We will have a hard time leaving tomorrow and hope to be one of those repeat guests!
