Cheap and Good for just a pass through camping. Would not recommend for more than a night. No beach, full of weeds. Since the new owners you can’t rent paddle boards or use the wake boarding pulley system. Not kid friendly

I was skeptical booking here but it was a convenient location and pictures looked decent online. We recieved a text to get our site location from an envelope taped to the office front door. Arrived & parked, no park host or employee on site. Being a single mother with my 2 kids I felt very unsafe in this dark campground. The lake is nice, lots of dead fish. No amenities for kids, couldn't rent fishing poles as there was no one in the office, they were bored and we didn't want to stay our 2nd night. Very mediocre campground. Cheap for a pass thru spot, I wouldn't recommend staying more than 1 night and not kid friendly. Right by the freeway so very loud road noise.

Unfortunately, our experience was different than some of these other reviews. When we arrived, we did not receive our site number by email so we went to the office which was closed. There was a note on the door of the office to go to the camp host, so we did. When my husband knocked on the door of the camp host, he was greeted by a very confrontational man who was not happy we were there. He belittled and demeaned my husband, and then me. If we hadn’t already paid online we would have left immediately. The man was incredibly aggressive. At one point, I thought he was going to start a physical fight with my husband, who was being incredibly calm. I have never in all my years of RVing come across such a hostile camp host. We would definitely not recommend this campground, and will not be returning.

This park is great! Laundry is very clean and is on the honor system to pay. Lake is gorgeous! We were there in September so didn't use/rent the equipment. Park is clean with old growth trees. Spaces are big, most are pull through. We will be back!

My sister and I stayed in the cabin at Wakeside Lake for the weekend. We weren’t sure what to except but we were very impressed and surprised! It’s a very beautiful property with mature trees and a lake! The bathrooms are very clean and have key pad door locks which made us feel very safe for showering. We never once felt unsafe staying here, anywhere on or near the property. We went fishing and paddle boarding (we did bring our own gear)! No luck on catching fish but had a good time. Everything in Rexburg was only a 10 min drive away. We met the host on arrival (Brett) and he was very kind. He also had great communication and responded to our texts very fast. Great value for your money overall! We will definitely be staying here again.
