About Campground

Just 6 miles from Yellowstone's west entrance at West Yellowstone, Montana (the most popular and convenient entry point), you'll find a pine-shaded site that is the perfect base camp for exploring the world's first national park. Old Faithful puts on its steamy regular-as-clockwork show just 30 miles away. The area offers horseback riding, world-class fly-fishing, whitewater rafting, a nightly Old West Rodeo, Yellowstone Giant Screen Theatre and the Grizzly & Wolf Discovery Center. Return for a soak in the indoor pool housed in a classic Montana log building. Fuel up with a latte and pancakes for breakfast and a barbecue dinner in the evening (featuring Almost Famous ribs). Save room for delicious homemade fudge.

The campground is in a GREAT location outside of Yellowstone. We love coming here. Our placement in the campground seemed off the last time we were here, but overall it was a good experience. Great place and stays maintained.

Great place to stay! A lot more people than I expected. Fun activities for the kids and the pool was a good size! The back in spot we had was really tight to get into. The people across the aisle had a truck parked on the very edge of the road and there was a big rock on the edge of the site. Getting backed in between those two things was very frustrating after a long day of driving. We were rewarded with a great view out the back of our site.

I'm sure we'll be back!

Great Location! Great staff. Loved that they didn't charge extra for kids. Close to the West Gate of Yellowstone and the downtown area. TONS of things to do a the park for the kids. Pool was large and well kept. They also have breakfast and dinner plates with LARGE portions! would stay again

We stayed here the last week in September. The staff is amazingly efficient and friendly. The sites were very clean and all have nice patches of grass with great trees for shade. Great dog walking. Altho close to the highway, it was very quiet. The bathrooms were very clean. The store was well stocked, even this last week. We will definitely stay here again.

We had a beautiful cabin. Not exotic, but perfectly functional and well maintained. Kitchenette had a stove (we didn't test it), microwave, fridge and freezer. The shower was lovely and a personal favorite, indoor flushing toilet! Don't forget to use the front porch swings and ponder the beauty all around.
