Lovely heated pool, friendly staff, and nice snack bar. (Edited to add: they no longer sell local passes--this policy changed in 2020 and like so many things with Covid, never returned. We still miss being local members at their pool and frequenting their snack bar. We had been regulars at their pools for many years and my kids loved taking swimming lessons with their life guards every summer too. It was a wonderful service they were offering to their local community and it's sad I can no longer recommend them to our friends and neighbors.)

Nice campground. Family friendly. Easy access right off I-80. The only downside is the fact that it's right beside the interstate. If you don't mind the nose from the traffic, it's a super place to stay.

What a great place to overnight on a road trip. Great facilities, great prices, very accommodating staff and nice catch & release fishing!

We got there, and the Mobile we rented was dirty. I called to let them know, and they apologized. I asked for cleaning supplies and was told they didn't think they had any.

I had Clorox wipes, so for the evening, I wiped down everything we were going to have to touch. The TV didn't work, I called the maintenance man came down. I showed him the dirty and bloody mattress pad. He said that's wrong he'd sleep on the sofa also.

But the dirt probably came from when I turned on the ceiling fan.

Oh boy, was it bad.

I showed him the dishes with food on them as well as the dirty bathroom.

He apologized.

And got me another TV.

The next day, I got cleaning supplies and cleaned and washed the mattress pad. Their pillows and curtains as I was not hanging those dirty things back on my clean walls.

Then, apparently, they double booked the rental ( after we had been there a few days and cleaned it), so we had to leave.

I was sad as it was a nice place friendly neighborhood, and I looked forward to being there for the next 2 weeks.

Just didn't sound like the same place my mother in law bragged about or the Mrs. X would leave her home as she passed away last fall. I'm thinking they sold out over the last year or something 🤔.

The oly picture I took was bottom of the fridge as I wanted to show my husband when he got back.

I have been coming to Wolfs Camping Resort for 35 years and recently booked a spot. I have a popup camper which if anyone doesn't know is a tent on wheels. I can only use water and electric however the spot rented for 70.00 per night. Which is for full hookup price which includes sewer and TV. I have neither and neither did the rented spot. I inquired as to maybe they made a mistake they said no that's the price. I said but that is for full hookup and I have only water and electric, the man said "no that's the price". I don't know why all the campgrounds are trying to literally pushout the moms and pops. My kids are full grown now and have many, many wonderful camping memories. Sadly my grandchildren will not have that comeradery with other children they meet by having fun. I am now retired and can't afford to pay for items I am not using. Goodbye good times.

P.S. for that price where you have to use their facilities you get a wobbly toilet making you think you think your butt was going to hit the floor as sewage surrounds you, and a full fire ring upon pulling in for the weekend so that you could not burn your own campfire without cleaning it out yourself, all for the price of a clean hotel room at the local motel 6.
