The campground is well maintained. Everything (bathrooms, game room, pool) is very clean. The owners are super nice and personable. For Labor Day the owners and seasonal campers organized a bunch of fun activities for the kids and all were welcome -weekenders and seasonal alike. As weekenders we have not always had that experience at other campgrounds. Everyone is friendly. We will definitely be back!
The most beautiful hidden secret in Erie Pa. John was a fantastic, caring and really the greatest guy. His wife always greeted us with her beautiful smile. Monica was fantastic too, who has a permanent site and drove me a her golf cart. The little general store was stock with everything you would need. The bathrooms were beautiful and spotless. The shower water was a perfect temperature too. The views and sunsets were the greatest. We even saw shooting 🌠 stars from our site. The firewood was the good kind & perfect size to cook over too. The prices for camping, firewood and general store were very reasonable too. You couldn't ask for a better place to stay. Or for better host and hostesses.
Nice, tidy and clean campground, well cared for. There are a lot of long term campers and park models but we were able to snag a spot for just a night. Site was gravel but it was pretty level and right next to the pond.
Very nice smaller campground. Everything was clean and organized. We got a site right on the pond. Watched kids fishing. Super relaxing.
Under new management! The new owner told us some of the bad reviews are from prior years he wasn't here and he isn't tech savvy so the website isn't accurate, always feel free to call! They're super sweet and it's just two of them that run the place and it has a great community feeling to it. They would close the little shop and simply leave a note saying to grab them if you ever need anything, they invited us to a campfire cookout, the place has a fish cleaning station and a laundry area which we were impressed by, the showers are VERY nice and they want you to help clean and take part of the campground too. When we were heading out, they told us to come back, they were full of jokes, hospitality, and honesty. Heads up - they are cash only but you can buy RV parts, ice bags, and firewood at great prices! They even told us some places we could check out too (markets, Peggy's, lakes, etc.) during our stay.
