I have stayed here many times! In a camper, in many different cabins and the last two times— in the Landshark. At my last stay in June, i had a few concerns about some safety for my kiddos. When i had left, i had voiced my concerns and i was listened to without a single issue. Upon arrival, i was reassured that it had been taken care of and i was very thankful! I will always recommend your campground! Thank you for giving me the perfect location/accommodations to make memories with my family.
Rented the apartment at rv Park. It was nasty. The floors were were filthy dirty. The window blinds were duck taped together. Chairs in bedroom didn't have legs. We should have left and went to a hotel but didn't want to lose the money we had paid. Kitchen drawers were dirty where silverware was. Just awful. If these rentals can't be cleaned properly then they should not be rented. The bathroom at the shower house was cleaner than the rental. Will definitely never go back.
If you’re tent camping you might want to avoid this spot. There’s a large patch of grass (some of it on a slope) that is shared by others. First come, first served. No privacy. No dedicated camp spots. It’s a trailer designed park first and foremost. And not a pretty one. Has a FEDEX transport facility right next door. Noisy and irritating! I wouldn’t recommend it for tent camping.
I would give them a 3.5-3.7 if I could. Went here 2 years ago, and I can see a difference.
PROS: Staff is very nice, location is really quiet. Grounds are well maintained, no trash, grass mowed. RV was overall very clean. Easy access to the campground.
CONS: Rented an camp RV. Entrance doors needed painting, were dirty and paint was chipped. Shower head in the shower was terrible, really needs cleaned or replaced badly, also shower is stained. One mattress was bad, needs replaced. Asked for a light bulb, was told that maintenance would have to replace it, but I never saw a maintenance person. A/C and heating worked, but knob on the bedroom heater was missing, so it was difficult to set. Window A/C's were all different, but no directions, so figuring out how to set them was some work.
Worst of all was the laundry at the store .Most of the washers and half of the dryers were out. My wife spent 3 hours doing laundry because the "working" washers kept shutting off. Signs on dryer said some of them have been out since April.
Also, since we had to bring our own sheets, I asked in advance what size the bed in the main bedroom was (the website gives two different sizes). We were told it was a queen but it ended up to be a twin, so we had to improvise. Would be nice if the website had the correct information.
Overall, I will probably stay here again, but if I go back I may try somewhere else.
