Lovely little campground! We stayed for one night to test out our new-to-us RV before a big trip. The river was beautiful, the grounds were maintained, our site was a very level and clean pull through site, the playground is delightfully “old school” and the young guy in the office was so polite and helpful. We did not use the shower house but the bathrooms were clean and basic.
The highlight for us was hiking their trails! We explored for several hours and it was stunning! Though we didn’t really see any waterfalls - which is what I was hoping for. However, we did wander off trail a few times so that might have been my fault.
Easy access right off of a main road but felt like we were in the middle of nowhere. No cell service which wasn’t a problem but be forewarned if you need access to the outside world. A few miles away is the Avonia Tavern if you’re looking for a delicious meal at a friendly restaurant/bar. Great quick trip to Folly’s End!
Been coming here since I was a little kid back when erie still had salmon running the creeks this is a great campground in a prime location rite on elk creek and very close to many other great fishing spots and the lake highly recommend this family friendly campground
Jim and Lucas were both super helpful. If you enjoy being steps from the restrooms, yet feel deep in the woods (primitive) ask for T2! Very unique!
