From I-10 (exit 24): Go 2-1/2 mi S on Menge Rd, then 3 blks E on Freddie Frank Rd.
Tall pines, shade to park your rv under, 6 miles to the beach, a boat ramp that just barely qualified as a ramp, a beach that is just barely there (like the boat ramp) , good hook-ups, pull through parking spaces, all in all a very nice resort.
This was our 3rd trip and have enjoyed it every time. Love this area and close to the beach. We stay in our camper, so I have no experience with the rentals here. I will say the showers and restrooms always clean, but need some repair or remodel. They were working on the pool area when we were there, so maybe they have plans for the showers soon. I will definitely stay here again.
This place absolutely beautiful. We had a nice little spot on the lake. The staff was friendly and very welcoming, especially as a coast to coast guest. There were some spots off limits reserved for owners, but they were so polite about it.
The water that came out of the tap looked like it was straight from the river. The filter at the front also didn’t work which was a bummer. We ended up going to the market down the road for bottled water.
Overall this place was really great and we will definitely be back!
Had a great stay with campsite right on the Bayou! Took their Aqua Cycle for a ride too. Beautiful, peaceful campground with friendly staff and people. Thanks!
This is not a hotel it’s an RV resort. The accommodations are all right. My room is great cause I brought my own motorhome with me. If I was rating it on coast to Coast. I would give it about a 6 1/2 across-the-board
