Loved my 3 day stay (2 nights in a cabin, 1 night in hotel). The food from the restaurant was top notch. The beds in the cabin were well worn but definitely comfy. Lots and lots of ducks. The place gives Dirty Dancing vibes for sure. And the staff was very accommodating allowing for an early check in to the hotel.
A great place to stay during football season! It’s a little like stepping back in time, but it’s clean and comfortable. Meals are wonderful as well!
Returned to the restaurant for our annual Thanksgiving lunch. They serve a reliably good buffet with turkey, cornbread dressing, and all of the trimmings. The line moved quickly, and the buffet didn't disappoint.
Though our travel here was for a life celebration we throughly enjoyed the resort. Yes a bit summer camp feeling, which we absolutely love, everyone was incredibly friendly and nice and the facilities are in good shape. Feeding the duck, geese and fish was a daily event. Let me tell you they have some awesome cooks!
What a gem! This was my first time visiting and I thoroughly enjoyed the time. The view on the lake was exceptional and seeing all the chubby ducks floating around made me relaxed and hungry. Btw, the food was amazing too- the best dolphin in Mississippi!! Hands down! I will be back soon!!! Highly recommend visiting!!
