This campground is very very buggy, yes I’m aware all campgrounds will have bugs. But not all campgrounds have hornets swarming the sites so much that they are stinging your kids. There was very little to do on the property, expensive parking and camp spaces that are very small. Dirty bathrooms so I would rather use the bushes. I mean honestly it was so bad we left after the first night even though we paid for more! When we camp we go prepared with a ton of bug spray, lights, power sources etc. we make it decent for the kids but this place there was just no making even any of the adults happy. The bugs will make you insane until you leave. Save your money and find somewhere else to camp. You’re welcome.
Beautiful lake and woods and clean, large, and well separated campsites.
Fantastic camping/tenting grounds with a large lake and a park. A boat launch near the tenting site and beautiful up kept place. Bathroom facilities and accommodations in the park. Will be back. Coolest thing at night is star gazing.
Great campground! Nice primitive sites, good space. We were in 112. Pretty lake, but weeded along the entire campground shore.
Awesome campgrounds! Pretty well kept and some lovely scenery. Kinda hidden away from all the busy State Parks. The newer built fishing docks was nice. There was a newly constructed pit toilet building, though I hate using pit toilets the newer one was cleaner and didn’t smell as much. Beach isn’t much of anything but it’s there and is nice on a hot day.
